2010 Aesculapius Award Recipients Announced
"People need reliable information about lifestyle and health care choices presented in an appealing way. The Aesculapius Award is designed to promote and to encourage excellence in the communication of good information about healthy lifestyles, disease prevention, and health care treatments," said Dr. Goldschmidt. "This year's awards continue the very high standard of creativity and quality that we have seen since the awards began. We are delighted by the wide variety of organizations that chose to submit entries this year. We congratulate the winners of our Annual Award and Award of Excellence."
Those in the dialysis advocacy field are well aware of Dori Schatell's contributions to health education for all chronic kidney disease patients and health professionals alike. It is just reward that people outside of the nephrology also know of her example and contribution to medicine and the high standards she promotes. We offer our congratulations for a well deserved award.
